Farmville Coins and Cash
There are two basic types of currency in Farmville: Coins and Farm Cash. Farm Cash is a relatively recent addition to the game. It enables the player to buy exclusive items. A unique item called the Flying Saucer can only be bought with Farm Cash during the Alien Invasion in Farmville. Buildings like the Tea House, Pagoda, and Groovy Barn require that you save up your Farm Cash or purchase more on your account.
Extra Coins and Cash can be purchased with actual money through a credit card or Paypal account. Farmville accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. It is easy to collect coins. Therefore, I strongly advise spending your real money on Farm Cash.
Coins
Farm coins are the common currency that you will deal with most of the time. When you plow, plant or purchase some objects, coins are what you'll use. You receive coins when you harvest animals or crops. When you get eggs from a turtle, Farm coins will be added to your account right away. It is the same for plants; if you harvest an avocado tree, you don't receive avocadoes, you receive coins. Keeping a close watch on your balance will help you in determning what crops to plant. Sometimes you have to choose between planting a whole field of a low-priced crop or planting just a couple of squares of an expensive crop. Keep a calculator close at hand and figure out which particular crop is yielding you the most bang for your buck.
Farm Cash
$1 is deposited to your account everyday. I really recommend that you save your [Farm cash] and spend your coins instead. Remember to think sensibly before spending your FarmCash. Farmville items such as special buildings, special farmville animals during events, fuel for your vehicles can only be purchased using Farm Cash. Spend your Farm Cash if you are actually certain that you want an item!!! Only spend it for unique items during events that will help obtain more unique items. Rare animals such as the Baby Turkey during the American Thanksgiving (although there is a Wild Turkey also available during this event as a Lost Animal) and decorations only offered during that event are examples of good purchases. Remember, it's your farm therefore it should reflect your unique character.
When it comes to purchasing vehicles such as a tractor or seeder, always make sure that you're prepared to handle the cost of fuel. For your vehicle to run, it needs fuel. If not it will simply be an expensive ornament. If you want a large farm with several vehicles, you may want to consider using your real money to purchase Farm Cash to help keep everything running effortlessly.
