Tractor Box Blade
Can you put a box blade on a tractor that doesn't have hydraulics?
We're looking at buying an older model 28hp Kubota tractor that is already equipped with a finish mower. To my knowledge, the tractor does not have hydraulics. Would it be possible to still use a box blade on the front of the tractor to smooth out dirt piles and gravel or would a newer tractor with hydraulics be required?

If the tractor does not have hydraulics, you cannot install any attachments since you could not lift them up for traveling. You don't use a box blade on the front of any tractor, only a bucket. Most Kubotas of this size do have hydraulics and a PTO. Look on the back end of the tractor or ask the seller.
