The second backhoe is the NorthStar Trencherman. It is also made from Northern Tool + Equipment. The NorthStar Trencherman backhoe is selling at an affordable price of about $5,500. This one can come in a barn red, item number 4065. Normal backhoes attach to a tractor but this one is able to free stand! This makes it easy to move and it also allows for it to be built stronger. It can dig up to seven feet deep, but has an eight foot reach. The 12in. bucket allows for quick digging. The bucket can swing 130 degrees! Having this range in swing allows for a lot of maneuverability.
The third and final one is the NorTrac, made by Northern Tool + Equipment, item number B0000AWXVI. The NorTrac has the capability to dig eight feet deep and has a 16in. bucket! If one needs heavy equipment, the NorTrac backhoe will work well. It has 540RPM and has double acting cylinders. The double acting cylinders allow for smooth operator control and greater swing force. It can rotate up to 180 degrees. It cost about $8,000 for this one. Keep in mind that backhoes can help out with farmers, landscape contractors, and even with golf courses!
