Tractor Axle Parts
Belt size of mtd tractor(please help)?
I have a mtd tractor that needs a belt. The old belt snapped and broke in a million peices all over my lawn The belt is the one that connects the rear axle pulley to the middle pulley. I do not have a model number or serial number of the tractor. The stickers are scraped off everywhere. The original motor was a 12 hp briggs and i think its a 38 inch deck but i dont have the deck. Its a 6 speed manual. This tractor is the type that has 2 belts for the drive and the middle pulleys act as like a variable system in a way. If anyone could get me a part number or a belt size that would be awsome. Ive already tried about 6 belts and they all didnt fit. Here are some pictures
wrap a sting around from pully to pully mark the string and take it to a belt shop like where I live we have bearing and belt a balt shop[ will be cheaper then a tractor supply store plus take a piece of the belt with you so how thick you need
