Toy Tractor And Trailer
Parents: Is this a phase that all toddlers go through... Or is my son just absolutely destructive?
My son (two yrs old) has Mack the car hauler truck from the Cars movie. The tractor and trailer come apart on the toy, but you have to pull it really hard in order to get them apart. This is how he plays with this toy: He picks it up, throws it as hard as he can on the floor, so the tractor and trailer pop apart, picks it up, runs to me, and says "Momma, fix it!". I fix it, he throws it again, and the cycle continues until he finds another toy to demolish, which is when he usually goes for his toy Craftsman sander, which he throws down until it comes apart, and brings it to me..........
Normal toddler-hood phase or should I hide all my breakable stuff now?
LOL, I was being sarcastic about hiding my breakable stuff.... He only does this with his toys.

Lol, Id somehow try to discourage this behavior, if I were you. Not saying you havent, but you havent said you did either.
When Brody breaks something, or bangs, or slams...I pretend the toy is hurt and ask if its okay, and tell him he needs to be nice. Nice boys dont throw and break their toys.
Lol doesnt always work, but it helps.
I hope Brody doesnt decide to start demolishing my house, and if he does, Im shipping him to VA.
