Brain Damage From Caved in Temple?
ok so recently five of my friends were in a serious car accident with a tractor trailor. The whole car basically went right under the truck. The driver died and 3 were in bad shaped but will make it through. My question is the other girl who was in the back seat sustained a head injury. She suffers a caved in temple. The doctors put plates in her head and put her in an induced coma and plan on waking her up in a few days. She has responded to her fathers voice by sqeezing his hand when asked. ( The doctors said patients in a coma sometimes are still able to hear and respond) What are some of the problems she will be facing when she wakes up. Since she responded does that mean she wont be a vegatable and will be able to interact. Or that she has a good chance of walking and speaking Ill take any info or advice

She most likely will have sustained a pretty good head injury, but will probably be able to interact with intence rehab. A girl at my church fell eighteen feet onto her head and can still lead a relitivly normal life, her biggest issue is that sometimes she gets infections where the cuts were. I really hope this helps.
