Cheap place to buy Retro Parts Gibson Style Bell Cap Truss Rod Cover?
Where can I find a great deal online for Retro Parts Gibson Style Bell Cap Truss Rod Cover
I just ordered a nice truss rod cover for my Gibson '61 Reissue that has printed on it..."Les Paul". This was an EXACT replacement...cost me about $50. They are not cheap but you don't have to get ripped off by buying on eBay. Don't confuse this truss rod cover with the ones Gibson sells that says..."Les Paul - CUSTOM", unless you actually want one of those. The site I ordered it from is:

This is a great website. His prices are listed as pounds but if you use PayPal, they convert for you.
Like I said before, he's much, much cheaper than ones you see on eBay that sell for upwards of $400, FOR JUST A TRUSS ROD COVER!
Now, blank truss rod covers are available here in the US for about $15 or so but, ones with only "Les Paul" on it are not sold by ANYONE here in the US, including Gibson. I know, I called Gibson and emailed only to be disappointed. They reserve those "Les Paul" truss rod covers for the high end SGs they sell. So, if you want to save some $$$, get the ones in England. The fellow is a genuinely nice guy. You will NOT be disappointed! Shippment was FAST!
