Scooter not sparking?
125cc Sonik Starway (i know) chinese YH 125 T-L
New battery, Starter button working and kicking is turning it over but it just wont start, removed spark plug cap held end of plug close to metal chassis but i cant get a spark. Ive been advised to buy a new ignition coil by a motorbike enthusiast. Ive got the workshop manual and its troubleshooting guide has a list of problems, CDI, Magneto coil,Solenoid, regulator rectifier and ignition coil. Can anyone give me a priorty list of what to try first before i go out and buy all these items. Thanks
Ps Ive changed the spark plug
What do you mean tough?
You have to tough the plug onto the engine not just hold it close to check the spark so try that before declaring no spark
