a department store buys lawn tractors for $1200 less 25/20 and sells them at a price which yields a gross?
profit of 50% on cost. During a sale they sell the tractors and a reduction of 20% off the regular price. find the following cost of the contractors to the store,regular selling price,selling price during the sale.

C.P after discount of 25/20 =(1200)(75/100)(80/100) =$720
Regular Sale Price after 50% profit = 720X(150/100)=$1080
Sale after discount 20% = 1080(80/100)=$864
Profit=1080 - 864=$216 or profit %= (216/720)x100 = 30%
