how far space for floor joist in a shed?
I am building a base for a shed. The size of the shed is 10x15 plastic shed with a extension. the Winchester is the model by royal outdoor, the plan so far is dig 6 holes 24-36in deep and put 4x4s in each hole cement around the 4x4s cut to desired height. Bolt 2x10s to all sides with 1/2 in bolts then use 2x6 as floor joists every 12in then ¾ in plywood on top to the joists the 50 year warranty masonry board from Lowes. This shed will house a 500lb quad a 35ton log splitter and a 42in arrands garden tractor and some other odds and ends.
It sounds like you have already answered your question"use 2x6 as floor joists every 12in then 3/4 in plywood on top". That seems excessive for your equipment because the weight is distributed evenly on the tires. Although, it's probably only a few dollars more than 16" centers.
