Guide to Crops in Farmville
The economy of the game will not be able to move further without the seed crops. Crops are really the primary focus of Farmville. The player should use the available resources to come up with the best possible harvest.
The basic categories of crops are Animals, Trees, and Seed Crops. This article deals with seed crops. Visit Farmville Trees or Farmville Animals if you would like to obtain further information regarding the other two crops.
Seed crops require additional steps that animals and trees do not. You must have the following: one or more squares of soil (or free space on your field to plow a new field), seeds and time (growing times range from 2 hours to several days). You can select either the fallow soil where a crop just been harvested or an empty space to turn into field to prepare your farm. Click once to plow it. You can visit the Market and purchase any variety of seed you want after you are done plowing.
Choosing a Crop
In the internet, you will find many charts that will tell you which particular crops will offer you the most for the least amount of time spent. I’m going to tell the secret: berries. Loads of berries! They're perfect if you're going to be logging on frequently or staying online for long periods of time. Your blueberries will be rotten if you go away for 8 hours. So that you will always be able to harvest it, plan your crop. Damaged harvests steal your coins and time so try to prevent them at all costs.
Just keep inserting rows of information to your table as you reach another level and unlock more crops. This chart will help you plan your crops.
Vehicles:
Farmville has made the plantation farmer's job simpler by creating vehicles to help you with the tedious chores of plowing, planting crops and harvesting. Once you expand many times and you're sick or tired of clicking each little square of ground to plow, buy a tractor. The tractor allows you to operate 4 times more quickly since it plows 2x2 squares of ground at the same time. The vehicle can run out of fuel, so always observe the fuel gauge in the lower left corner of your screen. Luckily, it fills up every 6.5 hours. All of the vehicles on your farm share the same fuel tank. The seeder and the harvester are other two farm vehicles which will make your farm job easier. They work the same way, harvesting or seeding a 2x2 square of ground.
