Ford Tractor Tool Boxes
Needing help with putting a tool box in my truck?
I have a 2000 Ford Ranger, ext cab, step side, with a bed protector. I got a hard plastic tool box from Tractor Supply, and its not gonna go down in the bed without cutting the bed liner and I DONT wanna do that. So what I am gonna do is, raise the box up 6 inches, and bolt the back to the bed, and then add 2 6 inch pieces of 2x4 under each corner to the bottom of the bed. Will this work?
it will work but will look really shitty. take it back and find a narrower box,possibly for a small nissan or toyota.their beds are generally smaller than a ford.don't buy a mazda model because it is the same bed you have.
