Farmville Crops
The economy of the game comes to a grinding halt without the crops. Crops are indeed the primary focus of Farmville. You, the farmer, have to use the available funds to come up with the best possible harvest.
The main groups of crops are Animals, Trees, and Seed Crops. The only topic that will be discussed in this particular page is seed crops. Seed crops need extra steps that animals and trees do not. You must have the following: one or more squares of soil (alternatively free space on your field to plow a new field), seeds and time (growing times vary between 2 hours to quite a few days). To begin, prepare your farm by clicking either the fallow soil where a crop just been harvested, or click an empty space to change into field. To plow, just click once. Once you've plowed, visit the Market and purchase whatever type of seed you want.
Choosing a Crop
There are lots of tables in the internet that will tell you which specific crops will provide you the maximum amount of coins for the least amount of time invested. I’m going to tell the secret: berries. Lots and lots of berries! If you're going to be staying online for extended periods of time and logging on frequently, they are ideal. Your blueberries will be rotten if you go away for 8 hours. So that you will always be there to harvest your crop, plan your crop. Wasted harvests steal your coins and effort so try to prevent them at all costs.
As you level up and unlock more crops, keep adding rows of info to your table. You'll always have an up to date chart to help you plan your crops.
Vehicles:
Zynga created vehicles which makes the farmer’s life simpler. These new additions assist farmer with the tedious tasks of plowing, seeding and harvesting. Buy a tractor if you're bored or tired of clicking each little square of your field to plow. The tractor plows 2x2 squares of field simultaneously, allowing you to plow 4 times more efficiently. Keep an eye on the fuel gauge in the lower left corner of your computer screen as it's possible to run out of fuel. Thankfully, it completely refills every 6.5 hours. You only use one tank of fuel for all the vehicles on your field. The harvester and the seeder are other two vehicles which will make your farm work easier. They work on the same economy, harvesting or seeding a 2x2 square of ground.
