Auto Fountain
I'm moving; Stafford VA -Fountain Valley CA; driving a 17' uHaul & towing a Auto Transport Mini-Van. MPG?
Counting wrong turns, I shouldn't go over 3,000 miles taking highway 40 the whole way. I am driving a 17' uHaul unleaded Gas truck the whole way pulling a 2001 Grand Caravan Sport Minivan completely off it's wheels on a full Auto Transport. What gas costs and mpg rate am I looking at?
Your mileage is going to suck! LOL... Those U-Hauls get about 10 (just rented one two weeks ago), and with the trailer, you might see as bad as 8mpg.
3000 miles / 8 miles per gallon = 375 gallons
375 gallons * $2.75 per gallon US nat'l average = $1031.
Yikes! Better buy some stock in BP first (just kidding).
